Consultation
I offer a free 10-minute phone consultation, so you can get a sense of whether we have a good match. It is also an opportunity for me to decide whether or not I will be able to help you.
Under Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act, health care providers are required to provide a good faith estimate of expected charges for items and services to individuals who are not enrolled in a plan or coverage or a Federal health care program, or not seeking to file a claim with their plan or coverage both orally and in writing, upon request at the time of scheduling health care items and services.
Rates
$175 Intake session
$150 per 50-minute psychotherapy session
Insurance
I am an out of network provider. I do offer a “super bill” for your insurance for out of network benefits.
The reasons I choose to be an out-of-network provider are:
-Because it is not shared with an insurance company, your information is kept confidential.
-You can keep the same counselor even if you switch to another insurance carrier.
-A diagnosis is required, as a part of your record, with insurance. This could possibly affect different aspects of your life (life insurance, for example).
-I can provide highly specialized and personalized services beyond the constraints of insurance companies.
-Insurance companies can limit the number of sessions you can have.
Cancellation Policy
If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment, and you have not notified me at least 48 hours in advance, you will be required to pay $150 for that time.
Payment
Cash or Credit Card accepted for payment at the time of service.
